Description of racing career:
Gibson will be riding a Kawasaki for the first time since his inaugural year as a pro in 1999. Started racing in 1988 on a jr 50, won championship at Loretta Lynns, turned pro in 1999.

2006

Gibson celebrated two top-ten Supercross finishes at San Francisco and Indianapolis, and ended the season as one of the top AMA Supercross privateers.

Gibson had one top 10 in the AMA Supercross series
