Pre-Season testing going well for Team Jabouri Racing as new SuperMoto race season set to begin

Friday April 26th, 3316650

The 2008 CMRC Canadian National SuperMoto season is set to begin in a couple of weeks in Fort Erie, Ontario, on May 31st. The SuperMoto series last visited the grounds of the Fort Erie race track/slots back in 2003, when a young Adam Jabouri finished 2nd in the Mini class!

In preparation for the new season, Team Jabouri Racing (TJR) has been busy preparing this year’s race bikes and doing some pre-season testing at Batavia International in New York.

For 2008, Adam Jabouri, 16, will focus strictly on the Pro 450 and Pro Open classes, riding Kawasaki’s potent new KX450F. With Pro-Action suspension modifications, the new Kawasaki has been very quick in testing.

"We were fortunate to have some private test sessions at Stop 48 and Batavia that really allowed us to get the suspension dialed in. We’re also trying a new slipper clutch and some other pieces, and everything is working fine" commented team principal Louey Jabouri. Continuing the successful partnership from last year, TJR will be on Bridgestone tires, showcasing the brands SuperMoto specific tires.

RK Engine Works will be providing the horsepower, as they have for Adam since he was racing karts! Custom graphics from Maher Sign Products will be going on next and some amazing gear from Nexo Sports will be protecting Adam throughout the season. Pennzoil will again be protecting the engine …………
