Clean sweep for Carpenter

Monster Energy/Cernics/Kawasaki's Paul Carpenter ended the season the way he began it with the overall win of the MX1 class at Round 9 of the Monster Energy Motocross Nationals in Walton , Ontario on Sunday. The Ithaca , NY native's tour de force performance earned him the prestigious "King of Walton" title and sword, presented by Walton TransCan Grand National promoter Chris Lee.

Carpenter's Monster Energy/Cernics/ Kawasaki teammate, Tucker Hibbert, made it a perfect weekend for Team Green by snaring the overall of the MX2 East-West Shootout. Hibbert did the trick with 2-1 motos.
