Lange wins BooKoo AX Championship

IRVINE, Calif. (February 3, 2007) -- Team Babbitt's Monster Energy Kawasaki rider Darcy Lange put the finishing touches on a dominant season in capturing the BooKoo Arenacross Championship at the Target Center in Minneapolis. Lange picked up the overall victory, winning three of four main events on the weekend, including two 250 class wins and one in the 450 division.

Lange closed out the championship on a roll, running his season win total to 23 combined victories, including 12 of the last 15 main events aboard Kawasaki KX250F and KX450F machines. The BooKoo Arenacross Championship is awarded to the rider that earns the most accumulative points in the 250 and 450 classes throughout the season.

Team Babbitt's Monster Energy Kawasaki rider Jeff Northrup, who missed the past five races due to injury, made a solid return to racing and garnered second and fourth place finishes aboard his Kawasaki KX250F in Minneapolis.

The final round of the BooKoo Arenacross series will take place in
Uncasville, Conn on Febuaray 9-10 at the Mohegan Sun Arena.
