Kawasaki dominates at Montreal Supercross

Monday April 8th, 3481529

Montreal (TeamGreenNews.ca) – October 4th, 2010-- At the oldest running sporting event in Montreal, Canada, the enthusiastic Montreal Supercross fans were treated to a great night of racing where Team Green riders dominated the evening.  Kawasaki riders swept four of the top six positions in the feature MX1 race with Monster Energy Cernics Kawasaki rider Josh Demuth setting the fastest lap of the race on lap 6 with a 55.109 seconds.

When the dust settled, it was Les Chutes Kawasaki rider Nick Wey, a last minute edition to the team, who took the win with Teddy Maier of the Monster Energy Leading Edge Kawasaki earning second place and Troy Adams of the Monster Energy Cernics Kawasaki team rounding out the all Kawasaki podium.

The unfortunate story of the evening was early race leader Josh Demuth who tangled with a lapped rider in the closing laps robbing him of a chance to take the win, eventually finishing in sixth place.

The outstanding night of Team Green performances didn’t end with the coveted MX1 race, the Montreal fans were also treated to strong performances in the MX2 final with Monster Energy Leading Edge Kawasaki rider Brock Hoyer finishing just off the podium in 4th and Spencer Knowles finishing 8th

Canadian Kawasaki would like to congratulate all Team Green riders for an outstanding evening of racing!
